The first warm LEITNER-chair for skiers on the slope
In December 2011 the innkeeper Ingeborg Prinoth surprised the ropeways manufacturer LEITNER with an unusual request: she asked for heated chairs for skiers to relax after a long downhill. LEITNER was pleased to follow this innovative idea and constructed a special chair with seat heating at record speed. The result:
A „chairlift bench“ including seat heating for 18 people – the longest chair in the world.
The special chair is right next to the 10,5 km long slope „La Longia“ from the Seceda to Ortisei. The innkeepers Ingeborg and Holger as well as the entire team of LEITNER wish you a relaxing and warm sitting after the ski downhill!
